MULTIWIRE JUPITER GS240 represents the fourth generation of Pedrini Multiwire machines for the natural stone cutting industry.
Thanks to its outstanding versatility, MULTIWIRE JUPITER GS240 processes quartzites, marbles, and granites with precision, delivering excellent results on every type of material.
It is available in different models, distinguished by the maximum number of wires and by the diameter of the diamond wires (4.3 mm – 5.3 mm – 6.3 mm – 7.3 mm).
The use of 4.3 mm wire makes it possible to optimize block yield, reaching up to 39.2 m²/m³ with 2 cm thick slabs.
One of the distinctive components of the MULTIWIRE JUPITER GS240 is the large flywheel with a diameter of 2.3 meters. The wide contact arc with the wires ensures smooth and precise traction, which is essential during block cutting operations.

Machine components
The flywheel is driven by the multiwire machine's main motor to transmit rotational motion to the diamond wires. Pedrini patented a flywheel covering system using modular bands.
The wire-guide rollers are rubberized wheels, positioned at the entry and exit of the machine, to guide the diamond wires and keep them at the pre-set distance.
The columns and upper crossbeam incorporate the elements for the vertical movement of the wires and for machine securing it to the foundation.
The block carrier trolley is an integral part of the machine and is supplied in different sizes depending on the useful cutting width of the multiwire.
